InBIA and ACA Announce New Event Collaboration

In April 2027, InBIA and the Angel Capital Association will combine their annual convenings into a collaborative event designed to bring together two complementary pillars of the startup ecosystem: entrepreneur support organizations and early-stage investors.

This new event will preserve each organization’s distinct programming while introducing shared experiences—including joint keynotes, plenary sessions, networking and curated showcases featuring early stage innovation companies. New opportunities for learning, connection and cross-ecosystem collaboration will be front and center. By aligning audiences and resources, the event will offer greater value to attendees, expanded networks, and a stronger, more integrated platform for advancing innovation and entrepreneurship.

The 2027 gathering will serve as the inaugural offering of this partnership, with both organizations acting as anchor partners in building a must-attend convening for ecosystem builders, investors and national resource providers in the years ahead.

The event will be held April 17-21, 2027 in Dallas, Texas at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. An Engagement Committee made up of staff and board members from both organizations has been working in recent months to flush out the partnership and scope of activities. In the near term a Joint Program Committee will be formed that will begin to focus on unique content and rich speakers for the 2027 event. Each organization will be conducting their Annual Summit in 2026 as they have historically done but there will be special sessions and activities planned to introduce each audience to the other.

In 2026, connect with us at two major events. Join ACA leaders at ICBI40—InBIA’s 40th International Conference on Business Innovation, taking place April 12–15, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. Then, continue the conversation at the ACA Summit of Angel Investing, held April 21–23, 2026, at the Westin Westminster just outside Denver, Colorado.
