ACA Luis Villalobos Award Angel Nomination

Thank you for nominating a company for the 2025 Luis Villalobos award – granted to the most innovative ideas funded by ACA members.

Two winning companies will be selected from each of two category and be honored during the 2025 ACA Summit. Companies in all investment sectors are invited to participate and will be considered for one of two Category Winner opportunities. The categories are:

 

• • Technology, Services, & Consumer: (Hardware & Software, Social Media, Web 2.0., Fintech, AgTech, etc.)

• • Life Sciences (Pharma, Med devices, HealthCare IT, Digital or Mobile Health, etc.)

There are two parts to nominating a company:- This angel application (complete below) AND- Company application (here) – opens in a new window. You may complete both or ask the company to complete their portion.

Selection Dates & Company Calls:

 

• • All applications are due by 5:00p Central on Friday, January 31, 2025

• • A sub-set of nominated companies will be asked for a 15 minute live discussions. Company representatives should place a hold on their calendar as follows:

     

    • • Tech Category – March 5, 2025: 10a – 12p PT
    • • Life Sciences Category – March 6, 2025: 10a – 12p PT

The 2025 Luis Villalobos Award Winners will be notified by the week of March 10, 2025 for travel and expeirence planning.
