Denver, CO — The Summit of Angel Investing is proud to announce Stacey Bowers, Director of the Office of the Advocate for Small Business Capital Formation (OASB), as a keynote speaker for the 2025 Summit, which will take place April 15-17, 2025, in Denver, Colorado.
Stacey Bowers joined the OASB in January 2024, bringing a wealth of experience to her role advocating for small businesses and their investors. Before leading the OASB, Stacey served as a Professor of the Practice and Director of the Corporate and Commercial Law Program at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she taught courses in corporate law, including capital raising and accounting for lawyers.
Her career also includes serving as Of Counsel at 3Pillars Law, PLLC, where she represented small business owners and entrepreneurs seeking to raise capital. Additionally, Stacey has experience in private practice, worked as in-house securities counsel for two public companies, and began her legal career as a staff attorney in the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance.
In her current role as Director of the OASB, Stacey is dedicated to advancing the interests of small businesses and their investors. The OASB, an independent office established by Congress, focuses on addressing capital-raising challenges faced by startups, small public companies, and businesses in underserved communities, including those that are women-owned, diverse, rural, or located in natural disaster areas.
The Summit of Angel Investing, hosted annually by the Angel Capital Association (ACA), is the premier event for angel investors, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders in the startup ecosystem.
