The Angel Capital Association (ACA) is proud to announce Julia Morelli, President of George Mason University Instructional Foundation, Inc. and Holistic Solutions, Inc., as the recipient of the Ann & Bill Payne ACA Angel University Scholarship, awarded this fall to as a rising leader in entrepreneurial education.

Julia has distinguished herself through her commitment to advancing innovation and supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs. At George Mason University, she plays a pivotal role in expanding opportunities for students to engage with early-stage companies, equipping them with the tools to better understand investment, venture creation and startup ecosystems. Her work bridges the gap between academic theory and real-world application, fostering collaboration between students, faculty and local business communities.

Through her teaching, mentorship and program development, Morelli has been instrumental in building a culture of entrepreneurship at Mason. From guiding student founders in pitch competitions to curating educational resources for emerging angel investors, her impact has extended well beyond the classroom.

Receiving the Ann & Bill Payne ACA Angel University Scholarship allows Morelli to deepen this work by engaging with ACA’s nationally recognized curriculum. The live and on-demand courses offered through Angel University will further strengthen her ability to prepare aspiring investors and entrepreneurs for the challenges and opportunities of early-stage capital.
